We strive to prepare our students professionally and ethically to answer the call from the demanding Somalia’s education sector.  Faculty of Education was established to produce qualified teachers and educators who are committed to give back to their community.

The collapse of Somali government and the subsequent civil war has created a vacuum in the education sector by causing brain drain and shortage of qualified teachers. Planning of Education for Post Conflict Somalia requires drastic equipment of scholars with all the necessary skills to spearhead the country’s education system. In a bid to improve the quality of education sector, the faculty currently teaches three programmes in the fields of Science and Arts with the aim of training qualified teachers and educators that are able to participate in the development and planning of our education sector.
