A Brief Resume
Abukar Mukhtar Omar is the Dean of the Faculty of Education at SIMAD University in Mogadishu, Somalia. He holds a BSc. in Education from the Islamic University in Uganda and a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Planning from Makerere University, Uganda. He also has a PhD in Education Management from Makerere University, Uganda. His research focuses on higher education, with a specialization in the quality of higher education and the quality of teaching and learning. He teaches undergraduate courses in education management and administration, as well as comparative education. At the postgraduate level, he teaches courses in Educational Planning, Quality Assurance in Education, Policy formulation, and Strategic Planning in Education.
